Liferay Developer

Code and Pepper is recruiting an experienced RabbitMQ administrator familiar with the Liferay environment and Java application servers. The role involves working on a critical system for the public sector that operates 24/7, serving thousands of users and processing millions of messages weekly.

• Minimum 12 months of experience as a RabbitMQ administrator within the last 5 years, involving building or developing a system.
• Responsible for RabbitMQ architecture, deployment, high availability, data replication, routing keys, queue policies, security, monitoring, performance optimization, error diagnosis, and broker stability.
• Experience administering WildFly (JBoss) and Tomcat servers.
• Knowledge of Liferay Portal infrastructure.
• Experience with large systems built on Liferay Portal featuring at least 15 JSR-286 portlets, multi-tier application servers, browser interfaces, REST or SOAP in SOA architecture, supporting 1000+ concurrent users, handling at least 400,000 incoming and 2 million processed messages weekly, and operating 24/7 availability.
• Ability to specify the project name, duration, and role during the process.
• Very good command of Polish language.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring AMQP.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix.
• Knowledge of Ansible, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Basic PostgreSQL administration.
• Experience in public sector projects.

• Design, implement, and maintain high-availability RabbitMQ clusters in production.
• Configure routing, exchanges, queue policies, and data replication.
• Ensure access security and monitoring of the message broker.
• Diagnose message loss or slowdowns.
• Optimize performance and transmission latency.
• Administer WildFly (JBoss) and Tomcat servers including installation, configuration, application deployment, and diagnostics.
• Collaborate on Liferay Portal infrastructure, clustering, cache, and broker integration.
