Platform Engineer - Fintech/ Crypto

Incubly partners with a French company specializing in security and infrastructure solutions for cryptocurrencies and blockchain applications, including developing world-leading hardware wallets. The company has over 400 professionals building products to safeguard cryptocurrency assets.

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering supporting product teams.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and self-hosted runners provisioning via Terraform.
• Knowledge of JFrog Platform (Artifactory, Xray, Curation) for artifact management.
• Familiarity with container registries including GHCR/GitHub Packages and Helm chart repositories like ChartMuseum on S3.
• Experience with GitOps continuous delivery using ArgoCD and Argo Rollouts.
• Strong Kubernetes configuration management skills with Helm and Kustomize.
• Infrastructure-as-Code expertise with Terraform and Terragrunt including reusable modules.
• Experience with Crossplane or similar Kubernetes-native control-plane for infrastructure APIs.
• Experience building or operating internal developer portals/catalogues such as Backstage, Cortex, or Port.
• Hands-on with policy-as-code enforcement using Kyverno and/or Open Policy Agent.
• Familiarity with Knative for serverless/event-driven workloads.
• Container image hardening and optimization using best practices (e.g. Docker Hardened Images, Chainguard).
• Observability stack experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager, Datadog, VictoriaLogs/VictoriaMetrics.
• Instrumenting services and pipelines with OpenTelemetry.
• Comfortable in Linux/Unix environments with scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Go) and strong Git fundamentals.
• AWS cloud experience (compute, storage/S3, networking fundamentals) is a plus.

Would be great if you have:

• Experience supporting mobile/device-testing CI (Android emulator/KVM, iOS simulators).
• Experience developing platform API and CLI using Kratix or Crossplane tooling.
• Experience managing large Kubernetes cluster fleets.
• Experience with SLOs/SLAs and error budgets for platform services.

CI/CD platform & runner fleet:

• Own and evolve self-hosted GitHub Actions runner fleet including Linux (via Actions Runner Controller) and macOS runners.
• Optimize runner resource allocation balancing cost efficiency and engineering velocity.
• Support migration from GitHub-hosted runners and evaluate containerized vs VM-based execution.
• Collaborate on pipeline optimizations to reduce queue times and CI costs.
• Investigate and resolve macOS virtualization performance issues.

Artifact & package management:

• Administer JFrog Platform (Artifactory, Xray, Curation) including repository structure and security policies.
• Provide support for GitHub Container Registry and GitHub Packages.
• Operate ChartMuseum Helm chart repository on S3 with lifecycle and access management.
• Define container image ownership boundaries and promote Dockerfile best practices.

Progressive delivery & infrastructure automation:

• Operate ArgoCD / Argo Rollouts environments supporting GitOps progressive delivery.
• Maintain Helm charts and Kustomize overlays as Kubernetes configuration management.
• Design and maintain Terraform and Terragrunt modules with public/internal registries.

Observability & reliability:

• Improve observability stack including Grafana, Prometheus, and Alertmanager.
• Work to unify metrics, logs, and events strategy across Datadog and VictoriaLogs/VictoriaMetrics.
• Provide platform-level telemetry on pipeline and platform performance.

Internal developer platform, policy & modern workloads:

• Evaluate and help operate Crossplane for Kubernetes-native infrastructure provisioning.
• Contribute to developer portal/internal catalogue strategy (Backstage, Cortex, or Port).
• Implement policy-as-code guardrails using Kyverno and/or Open Policy Agent.
• Support Knative-based serverless/event-driven workloads.
• Roll out OpenTelemetry instrumentation and pipelines.

Developer experience & enablement:

• Serve as embedded point of contact for product engineering teams.
• Build self-service tooling, templates, and documentation for provisioning and deployment.
• Document ownership boundaries and help teams operate confidently.
• Contribute to platform roadmap focused on developer experience and engineering outcomes.
