As part of the Data & AI area, Allegro implements projects based on practical "data science" and "artificial intelligence" applications at a large scale in Poland. The Data & AI group consists of over 150 experienced engineers organized into multiple specialized teams working on BigData processes, ML models, search engine implementation, recommendations, buyer profiles, experimental platforms, and research using machine learning.
Wymagania
- Proficiency in programming languages: Scala, Java, and Python.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and data processing frameworks like dbt, Spark, and Apache Beam.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (especially Dataflow and Composer) or other cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with good software development practices including clean code, code reviews, TDD, and CI/CD.
- Competence in using Unix/Linux systems.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
- Motivation for personal development and keeping knowledge up to date.
- English proficiency at B2 level.

- Build a scalable data ingestion platform handling up to 150k events per second.
- Implement and maintain data processing pipelines using tools like Spark and Apache Beam.
- Work with cloud services including Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and AWS.
- Apply good practices such as clean code, code reviews, TDD, and CI/CD.
- Navigate efficiently within Unix/Linux systems to support development and deployment.
