Operations Engineer

Mindbox is a tech-driven company connecting top IT talents with technology projects for leading enterprises across Europe. The role is within their Global Cybersecurity Technology & Engineering function.

• Strong hands-on experience supporting or automating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Proven scripting and automation proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, and/or Groovy.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to implement end-to-end engineering improvements.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a pragmatic, delivery-oriented mindset.
• Fluent English communication skills, spoken and written.

• Experience in infrastructure, security engineering, or vulnerability remediation operations.
• Passion for leveraging AI tools, frameworks, and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) to enhance workflows and apply intelligent automation solutions.

• Support and automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub, including troubleshooting and operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement end-to-end engineering improvements from requirements to deployment.
• Validate and triage vulnerability findings from scanning tools and threat advisories (CVEs), assessing applicability and potential impact.
• Lead end-to-end remediation from finding to fixed, including planning, change execution, and post-implementation verification.
• Drive remediation activities across operating systems, middleware, applications, containers, and cloud platforms.
• Prioritise remediation based on risk context including exploitability, asset criticality, exposure.
• Coordinate change execution with diverse global teams, ensuring safety and minimal service disruption.
• Troubleshoot remediation issues such as failed patches, version conflicts, dependency issues and deliver root-cause resolution.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, remediation playbooks, and SOPs to standardise and accelerate processes.
• Track and report on remediation KPIs including backlog metrics, SLA adherence, and compliance status.
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives through process optimisation and automation.
• Partner with security, architecture, and tooling teams to refine scanning accuracy, reduce false positives, and optimise remediation workflows.
