Java Developer

IT Factory is a dynamic company experienced in the development, implementation, and support of IT solutions for a major Polish insurance and financial company.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Java
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Apache Kafka
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Spock) and integration testing tools (Testcontainers, WireMock)
• Understanding of object-oriented (OOP) and functional programming (FP) paradigms
• Knowledge of application containerization
• Knowledge of process engines and BPMN notation
• Understanding of resilience patterns for distributed systems
• Knowledge of Angular and experience in frontend application development
• Ability to use AI tools in the software development process
• Knowledge of application performance diagnostics tools
• Provision of services from Polish territory
• Willingness to work at the Warsaw office at least 1 day per week

Nice to have:

• Knowledge and practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Experience using AI agents and Agentic AI tools in software development
• Experience with cloud solutions

• Build and develop microservice architecture systems supporting claims reporting and handling processes
• Design, implement, and maintain APIs and integrations between systems
• Participate in designing system solutions and implementing functional and non-functional requirements
• Improve business processes by delivering efficient and scalable IT solutions
• Develop automated tests, apply engineering best practices, and maintain code quality
• Actively use AI tools and Agentic AI in requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance
• Perform and participate in code reviews using modern tools supporting code quality and security
• Participate in scrum events and collaborate within an agile multidisciplinary team
• Co-create software development standards and AI usage in the software development process
• Work on large-scale systems with high transaction volumes
