Tenarai is hiring a Senior Java Software Engineer for a client in the aviation industry. The role involves working on building and expanding scalable systems and applications based on Java architecture within an engineering team.
Wymagania
- Strong professional experience with Java 8+, Core Java, and J2EE.
- Good understanding of software architecture and design principles.
- Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills.
- Experience with Spring Framework 5.
- Experience with Hibernate / ORM frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Camel and Tomcat.
- Experience working with RESTful and SOAP-based services.
- Good knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, particularly Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, branching, and merging in a team environment.
- Practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), JUnit 4+, and Mockito.
- Experience with system diagnostics, debugging, profiling, and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of logging frameworks and experience troubleshooting application issues through logs.
- Understanding of code quality and software metrics.
- Experience working with AWS is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical leaders, architects, and developers.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Obowiązki
- Develop, maintain, and improve Java-based applications using Java 8+ and J2EE technologies.
- Design and implement software solutions following sound architecture and design principles.
- Develop and maintain integrations and services using REST and SOAP.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Develop and maintain automated tests following TDD practices, using JUnit 4+ and Mockito.
- Diagnose system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
- Develop utilities and tools to automate data and result processing and analysis.
- Monitor and improve code quality and maintain development standards and metrics.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git, including branching and merging.
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and technical leaders to solve technical challenges.
- Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Work independently on assigned tasks and take ownership of delivering solutions.
- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and development practices.
- Work with cloud technologies, with AWS preferred.
