Senior DevOps Engineer (m/k)

• Minimum 5 years of experience administering Linux systems in production, including 2–3 years in a DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineer role
• Very good knowledge of Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) including performance, system, and network troubleshooting
• Production experience with Docker
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably in GitLab CI
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Zabbix, Prometheus/Grafana or similar)
• Proficient in Bash scripting for automation
• Good network knowledge: TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, DNS, firewalls, load balancing
• Experience with system hardening, access management, and log analysis
• Independence, responsibility for own areas, clear communication skills including with non-technical persons
• English language skills sufficient for working with documentation

Nice to have:

• Kubernetes
• VMware vSphere
• HashiCorp Vault / OpenBao or other secrets management tools
• Experience with NGFW / WAF / EDR solutions in enterprise environments

• Designing, developing, and maintaining hybrid infrastructure: Linux (Debian) servers and VMware virtualization
• Designing and developing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI, managing release standards and deployment strategies
• Administration of GitLab and GitLab Runners
• Containerizing services with Docker and developing container workload environments
• Building and developing monitoring and observability (metrics, logs, alerting)
• System and service hardening, secrets management, implementing least privilege, collaborating on network segmentation and vulnerability management
• Designing and regularly testing backups and Disaster Recovery procedures, including ransomware-resistant copies
• Diagnosing complex problems at the intersection of systems, networks, and applications, incident handling
• Collaborating with development teams on architecture and best practices
• Creating documentation, standards, and knowledge sharing within the team
