Senior PHP Developer

4human Poland is building a core-HR platform tailored for Nordic regulations with over 20 years of payroll, time, and scheduling integrations. The company recently launched in Sweden and is part of a Nordic HCM group alongside Eletive and Tamigo, aiming to become a leading human capital management platform. The role focuses on maintaining the 4human HRM V8 platform, ensuring stability, performance, and integrating AI assistance in everyday HR work.

• 6+ years of professional PHP development experience
• 4+ years of experience with Symfony (at least 5.x/6.x) and Doctrine ORM in production
• Experience with distributed systems
• Knowledge of modern PHP (8.x) and Symfony framework
• Proficiency in MySQL design and performance tuning
• Experience with RabbitMQ or comparable messaging systems
• RESTful API design and OpenAPI contract experience
• Testing discipline using PHPUnit
• Familiarity with static analysis tools such as PHPStan and PHPCS
• Practical experience using AI coding assistants with responsibility for code review, security, and test validation

Additional technical skills:

• Experience with Redis and Elasticsearch in application design
• Experience with decomposing or consolidating service landscapes
• Knowledge of Docker and container-based development

Nice to have:

• Security in multi-tenant SaaS including authorization, data isolation, and GDPR compliance
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect and SAML federation flows
• Experience with Go for small, high-throughput services
• Knowledge of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm charts, ArgoCD/GitOps, and observability
• Load testing and performance profiling under load
• HR / payroll domain knowledge
• Experience in regulated, audit-driven domains
