Junior Software Engineer (Java/DevOps)

Motorola Solutions Systems Polska operates an Emergency Call Handling team based in Kraków, focusing on extending and enhancing a highly available (99.999%) mission-critical platform for call handling, VNXT Call Handling.

• Practical experience of at least 1 year with modern DevOps tooling including CI/CD pipelines.
• At least 1 year of experience with Java.
• Practical knowledge of microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• English language skills sufficient for efficient communication with international peers and customers.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Practical knowledge of Ansible, Cloud formation, or similar infrastructure automation tools.
• Experience with automated testing and observability/monitoring.

Nice to have:

• Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ/AMQ or Kafka.
• Experience with GStreamer.
• Networking knowledge including protocols such as SIP, RTP, WebRTC, and MSRP.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of a 99.999% available mission-critical platform.
• Work with microservices and REST API design.
• Utilize modern DevOps tools including Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and Cloud formation.
• Implement automated testing and monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate within agile teams responsible for end-to-end software lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, delivery, and maintenance in a 24/7 support model.
