Manual Tester

RITS Professional Services offers a hybrid work model with the team meeting in the Lublin office 1-2 times a week. The role involves testing services, mobile applications, and solutions supporting electronic banking.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manual testing (functional, regression, layout/visual and graphic layer) of web services and mobile applications for commercial clients (middle level).
• Knowledge of software development processes and application lifecycle.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and software testing standards (ISTQB or equivalent).
• Understanding of banking domain, products, and services (e.g., accounts, loans, payments).
• Ability to design and execute test scenarios, test cases, functional tests, regression tests, exploratory tests, and end-to-end tests.
• Ability to create test scenarios, project documentation, log results, and report defects using Jira and Confluence.
• Skillful in analyzing business, functional, and system documentation.
• Capability to identify, document, and report defects with business impact assessment.
• Ability to evaluate defects' effects on business processes and end users.
• Knowledge of testing tools supporting the testing process such as Jira, Confluence, and Xray.
• Familiarity with WCAG topics and tools like NVDA screen reader and WAVE extension.
• Knowledge of VoiceOver (iOS), TalkBack (Android), and browser developer tools.
• Proficiency with Adobe library and Figma application.
• Ability to analyze application logs and error messages.
• Experience testing solutions for individual and business clients, preferably in financial or banking sector.
• Experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
• Experience working with microservices.

Testing duties:

• Plan, prepare, and execute manual tests for web services, mobile applications, and electronic banking support solutions.
• Analyze business, functional, and technical documentation for test scenarios and cases preparation.
• Develop, update, and maintain test documentation including test scenarios, cases, execution reports, summaries, and recommendations.
• Perform functional tests verifying feature correctness per business and system requirements.
• Conduct regression tests after changes or new features deployment.
• Verify end-to-end processes covering complete user paths in bank digital channels.
• Perform non-functional compatibility tests.
• Test mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms considering various OS versions and devices.
• Test web services on supported browsers and devices.
• Validate UI presentation accuracy and UX compliance.
• Test digital accessibility per WCAG and applicable banking regulations and standards.
• Execute exploratory tests aimed at uncovering unanticipated defects.
• Record, classify, report, and verify defect resolution using agreed testing and issue tracking tools.
• Collaborate closely with business, analysis, project, and development teams for requirements clarification and defect management.
• Execute tests in properly configured and parameterized test environments.
