Senior C/C++ Engineer with Android (5/998)

The position is for an Embedded Software Engineer with strong experience in C/C++ and knowledge of Android-based embedded systems to join a globally distributed automotive engineering team working on next generation Android-based infotainment head units for leading automotive manufacturers.

• Professional experience in embedded software development.
• Extensive hands-on experience with C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Knowledge of Android architecture and Android toolchain.
• Strong independent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with software design methodologies and modern software quality standards.
• Experience developing software tests and tools with Python.
• Experience working with CI/CD processes.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Fluent in English and Polish.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with the Linux Kernel.
• Experience with microcontrollers, SoCs and ARM processors.
• Knowledge of peripheral interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C and USB.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and networks such as CAN or SOME/IP.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Knowledge of Functional Safety and ASPICE/SPICE processes.
• Experience working with third-party automotive suppliers.

• Develop software for next-generation Android-based automotive infotainment systems.
• Work with a globally distributed team on automotive user experience solutions.
• Develop software from initial requirements and concept through production implementation and lifecycle support.
• Analyse and troubleshoot software issues, perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Modify and optimise existing software, including porting it to new hardware.
• Improve software performance and non-functional requirements.
• Develop software tests and supporting tools using Python.
• Contribute to and improve CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with third-party suppliers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Participate in an Agile software development process.
