Senior GCP Data Engineer

Scalo delivers software projects and supports partners in business development using a wide spectrum of IT services including technological consultancy, software development, embedded systems, cloud solutions, data management, and dedicated development teams.

• Experience designing and building cloud solutions in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Practical experience in designing and implementing data processing and system integration.
• Strong knowledge of BigQuery, Dataproc, Composer (Airflow), and Cloud Storage.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for independent application and integration component development.
• Experience working with data pipelines and processing.
• Familiarity with GitHub and working with code repositories.
• Experience with Google Artifact Registry.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Ability to work according to established technical and architectural standards.
• Communicative with openness to knowledge exchange and business needs consideration in solution design.

• Develop and maintain data processing solutions in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Design and build batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Use BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Composer (Airflow), and Cloud Storage services.
• Develop components and applications using Python and SQL.
• Build and optimize data structures supporting analytics and reporting.
• Automate deployment processes with Terraform and GitHub.
• Manage application artifacts using Google Artifact Registry.
• Test, monitor, and maintain developed solutions.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and project teams to meet business needs.
• Participate actively in architecture discussions and long-term data platform development.
