Senior Technical Writer

AgileEngine is hiring for a Senior Technical Writer role involving AI-driven software documentation for end users, developers, and system integrators.

• 4+ years of technical writing experience with expertise in software documentation for SaaS, cloud platforms, or developer-focused content.
• Deep familiarity with prompt engineering, capable of designing effective prompts and configuring AI tools for consistent documentation.
• Strong understanding of documentation architecture and scalable information design patterns.
• Technical knowledge of APIs, event streaming, batch processing, system architecture, and data models.
• Proficiency with Markdown, YAML, Git, and version-controlled workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Problem-solving mindset with critical thinking about documentation processes.
• Experience in fast-paced, cross-functional product environments.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, English, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Upper-intermediate English (B2 level).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Loyalty product, MarTech, or B2B SaaS.
• Familiarity with Redocly documentation framework for API references.

• Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to understand documentation needs and user workflows, designing documentation architecture and automation patterns.
• Establish documentation standards, governance, and quality gates within the automation system to ensure consistency and user value.
• Build and refine prompt templates, style guides, and content models to enable scalable, high-quality documentation.
• Write, edit, and review documentation to model excellence and validate automation output quality.
• Measure documentation impact using analytics and user feedback to guide improvements.
• Document all systems, configurations, prompts, and decision logic to support team maintenance and evolution of the automation system.
