This role involves designing and developing high-performance data platforms within the financial market context, specifically to support analytical processes for the FX market. The project includes co-creating an enterprise-class platform handling 46 currency pairs and processing 40 million messages daily.
Wymagania
Must Have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with PostgreSQL
- Very good SQL knowledge
- Experience in data modeling
- Knowledge of PL/pgSQL (procedures, functions, triggers)
- Experience in database performance optimization
- Practical knowledge of ETL integration
- Experience with large data volumes
- Technical higher education
- Knowledge of Linux
- Experience in the banking sector
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience with Apache Airflow
- CI/CD skills
- Experience in banking or financial sector
Obowiązki
- Design and develop data platforms processing hundreds of messages per second
- Archive data with long-term retention
- Build Data Lake and Data Warehouse
- Integrate with financial and trading systems
- Create high availability (HA) solutions
- Develop solutions supporting risk management
- Mentor junior developers
- Support analysts and business teams
- Participate in Agile projects
Benefity
- Hybrid work: maximum 2-3 times per month in the Warsaw office
- Contract: B2B, 12 months with possible extensions
- Rate: up to 145 PLN net per hour plus VAT
