• Strong hands-on experience using Claude Code in software development or business workflows
• Practical experience creating Claude Code Skills or comparable reusable AI coding agent capabilities
• Understanding of modern AI engineering patterns, including agentic workflows, tool use, prompt engineering, context engineering, and structured instruction design
• Proven software engineering experience to build, review, test, and maintain production-quality solutions
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical designs and executable workflows
• Experience evaluating and improving non-deterministic AI solutions
• Ability to manage technical standards, shared components, evaluation and release strategies, and backwards compatibility
• Capability to define and enforce skill quality standards and shared infrastructure requirements
• Ability to make and justify platform-level decisions, including agent harnesses, integration architecture, and build-versus-adopt strategies

Nice to have:

• Experience authoring Claude Code Skills, plugins, or MCP servers
• Familiarity with evaluation tooling for LLM systems such as promptfoo and LangSmith
• Consulting or professional services background
• Domain knowledge in HR technology, compensation & benefits, payroll, or workforce analytics
• Experience building internal developer tooling or platform capabilities
• Contributions to public artefacts, including open-source agent tooling, published skills or plugins, conference talks, or technical writing on agentic engineering

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and domain experts to understand objectives and processes
• Analyze business requirements, documentation, and reference materials
• Identify workflows and use cases for implementation or improvement through Claude Code Skills
• Design, implement, test, and maintain reusable Claude Code Skills
• Create skill instructions, supporting scripts, validation logic, and reusable components
• Translate complex business processes into structured, executable AI instructions
• Evaluate skill behavior using realistic scenarios and acceptance criteria
• Improve skill reliability, accuracy, usability, and maintainability through testing and feedback
• Provide technical leadership, including review, direction, and unblocking of other engineers
