Senior Insurance Technology Consultant

This role is part of EPAM's growing Insurance Business Unit in Poland.

• 8+ years of industry or consulting experience with 5+ years on major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Expertise in AI strategy and GenAI/Large Language Models-based solutions with hands-on knowledge of enterprise deployment
• Solid knowledge of cloud-native architecture patterns such as microservices, event-driven design, DevSecOps, and CI/CD
• Familiarity with AI lifecycle in SDLC environments including prompt engineering and governance frameworks
• Strong understanding of insurance value chains in P&C, Life, and Reinsurance including compliance with GDPR, DORA, Solvency II, and KNF
• Proven consulting experience with RFP support, business case design, and executive workshop facilitation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence C-level stakeholders
• Fluent English; basic Polish is an advantage
• Willingness to travel across Europe up to 30–40%

Nice to have:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate or equivalent AWS/GCP certifications
• Experience with platform engineering, Team Topologies, or Domain-Driven Design (DDD) in insurance context

• Engage C-level stakeholders to define technology and AI transformation strategies for insurance clients across Europe
• Lead executive workshops, architecture reviews, and strategic advisory sessions
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business-value narratives for diverse audiences
• Validate and shape AI-powered solution strategies on enterprise cloud platforms
• Drive AI transformation initiatives including adoption of GenAI tooling and developer productivity solutions
• Recommend cloud architecture patterns aligned with GDPR, DORA, and Solvency II regulatory requirements
• Enable internal AI capabilities including GenAI enablement programs and ROI measurement frameworks
• Support business development activities and identify new opportunities in European and Polish insurance markets
• Collaborate with EPAM teams on proposals, client interviews, and growth strategies
