Engineering Change Engineer / Technical Writer

KGS Fire & Security is expanding their Gdańsk R&D team to support development and sustaining of electronic products focused on Alarm, Video, and Access systems. The role involves managing engineering changes in the ECO framework and PLM system and supporting Technical Writing for product manuals.

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Automation, or related technical field
• Experience with BOM structures and change management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Experienced with Corel and Adobe Suites
• Good analytical skills and detail-oriented mindset
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Very good command of English (written and spoken), especially technical language

Nice to have:

• Experience using ERP systems, preferably Oracle and PDXpert PLM
• Experience with Atlassian suite – Jira, Confluence
• Knowledge of electronic components industry
• Experience developing VBA macros
• Experience in Technical Writing

• Manage engineering changes for the products portfolio
• Add new components and BOM structures in the PLM system
• Manage technical documentation flow between R&D and factories
• Create and update product manuals according to internal guidelines
• Manage product manuals database and online publishing
• Collaborate with product development teams to assure on-time product market delivery
