Mid/Senior Java Developer (banking)

They offer projects in fintech, medtech, edutech, and industrial automation sectors, focusing on delivering quick and measurable results while enabling IT specialists to grow their skills and experience.

• Documented commercial experience in banking or financial sector projects.
• Commercial experience: minimum 5 years for Mid level; minimum 7–8 years for Senior level.
• Proficient knowledge of Java 11+, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot (including versions 3.x standards).
• Very good knowledge of JPA/Hibernate, relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle), and caching solutions (Redis or Hazelcast).
• Practical knowledge of microservices architecture, hexagonal architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Proficiency in building and handling REST interfaces, Apache Kafka queues, and SOAP protocol.
• Familiarity with resilience patterns (Circuit Breaker, Retry, Rate Limiting) and software design principles SOLID, DRY, KISS.
• Knowledge of testing strategies and implementation.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Maven, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical experience using AI/LLM tools supporting programming.
• English language proficiency at minimum B1 level.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model with office presence approximately 1 day per week.

Nice to have:

• Experience in retail banking projects.

• Design, implement, and optimize critical banking services in a microservices and hexagonal architecture.
• Develop clean, modular code based on Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and resilience patterns.
• Integrate solutions with internal and external systems using Kafka, REST, and SOAP interfaces.
• Diagnose performance bottlenecks and optimize queries in relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Participate actively in test automation (unit and integration tests) and CI/CD processes.
• Utilize modern AI tools to enhance coding efficiency.

Senior role responsibilities:

• Provide mentoring, technical leadership, and substantive support to junior developers.
