Data Engineer (PySpark, Databricks)

• 2+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, or software application development
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python, PySpark, and ETL development
• Proven experience with Databricks and large-scale data processing workflows
• Knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, and data modeling
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Nice to have:

• Experience in capital markets and working knowledge of financial instruments
• Experience with Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, and enterprise scheduling tools (e.g., AutoSys)
• Hands-on development background in Java or C#

• Design, develop, and improve digital products and technology services provided to risk managers, quants, and other key stakeholders
• Apply a broad range of engineering standards — from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment
• Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions by applying digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
• Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, help resolve incidents, and remediate root causes of risks and issues
• Understand, represent, and advocate for client and business needs
• Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, assist with hiring, and contribute regularly to internal engineering communities
