Mid/Senior CDN Automation Engineer with Python

CodiLime is a software and network engineering industry expert providing services to global networking hardware providers, software providers, and telecoms. Established in 2011 with 250+ employees, it serves clients across the US, Japan, Israel, and Europe.

• Hands-on experience with CDN solutions such as Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, Amazon CloudFront, Google Cloud CDN, Azure Front Door
• Experience with CDN providers' APIs and CLIs
• Background in CDN configuration and migrations
• Strong expertise in HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TLS, caching, and content delivery concepts
• Solid Python skills including REST APIs, JSON/YAML data handling, and writing maintainable, tested code
• Experience working with customers or business stakeholders on technical projects
• Experience with production-grade deployments
• Knowledge of Linux
• 5+ years of experience in CDN, web infrastructure, networking, or related roles
• Fluency in English at minimum B2 level
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Readiness to work with international customers requiring flexible hours

Nice to have:

• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Knowledge of web application security: WAF, bot management, DDoS protection, rate limiting
• Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of DevOps tools and practices
• CDN vendor certification

• Designing and implementing business logic to convert configurations between different CDN solutions
• Shaping the software architecture of the conversion and migration framework
• Developing, testing, and maintaining production-grade software in Python
• Building and maintaining the product roadmap based on customer configurations
• Cooperating closely with other CDN Subject Matter Experts to continuously improve the automation framework
