Senior Embedded Developer

• 5+ years developing control or embedded-function models in MATLAB/Simulink
• Strong foundation in control systems and dynamic-system behavior
• Experience structuring model interfaces, parameters, signals, and reusable components
• Ability to debug models and document design decisions
• Working knowledge of C++ to read and discuss implementation code
• Experience with source control and engineering review/test workflows
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have:

• Background in PPC, power-generation, industrial automation, inverter, or energy-storage embedded-control product development
• Experience with active/reactive power, voltage/frequency control, grid-support functions, or multi-asset plant coordination
• Familiarity with Stateflow, model-based design practices, model testing, automatic code-generation workflows
• Experience with closed-loop, software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop validation, and real-time controller deployment
• Experience integrating control models with C/C++ software, PLCs, or real-time controller hardware
• Experience with requirements traceability, DFMEA, or system-level verification and validation

• Translate feature requirements and control behavior into clear, maintainable MATLAB/Simulink models
• Participate in requirements clarification and design reviews
• Develop and update control logic for functions such as active/reactive power control, voltage/frequency response, dispatch, and plant coordination
• Define and maintain model inputs, outputs, parameter buses, feedback signals, and interfaces
• Build or adapt closed-loop simulation scenarios using plant, grid, and equipment models
• Run model checks and simulations; support software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop validation
• Collaborate with PPC C++ developers to review implementation assumptions and support integration
• Contribute to failure-mode analysis, verification, validation, and technical documentation
• Support regression testing and provide evidence for software integration and release
