Senior Interface/Config Engineer - webMethods (Finance/Invoicing)

• 3+ years of experience with webMethods Integration Server, Designer, and API Gateway
• Deep familiarity with SAP integration mechanisms, specifically RFC/BAPI and IDoc/ALE for financial modules (FI/CO/SD)
• Understanding of e-invoicing message standards, regulatory formats, and B2B document exchange
• Proven experience building and securing REST and SOAP APIs, XML/JSON payloads, and messaging flows
• Expertise with AI-assisted mapping tools, automated testing scripts, and intelligent payload validation
• English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher

Nice to have:

• Experience in M&A IT carve-outs, divestitures, or TSA exit integrations
• Familiarity with enterprise integration inventories like Ardoq and automated CI/CD pipelines
• Certifications in webMethods or cloud integration architectures

• Design, build, and configure integration flows on Software AG webMethods (Integration Server / API Gateway) for finance, billing, and invoicing
• Configure SAP RFC/BAPI and IDoc/ALE interfaces connecting SAP financial hubs with e-invoicing partners
• Use AI-powered mapping assistants and automated unit-testing scripts to validate transformation logic
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP APIs, XML/JSON transformations, and secure messaging patterns
• Collaborate with functional consultants, test coordinators, and business owners to triage and resolve SIT and UAT defects
• Participate in migration rehearsals, validate financial interface re-pointing, and support hypercare stabilization
