Senior Embedded Developer

• 5+ years developing control or embedded-function models in MATLAB/Simulink
• Strong foundation in control systems and dynamic system behavior
• Experience structuring model interfaces, parameters, signals, and reusable components
• Ability to debug models, document design decisions, and work from requirements
• Working knowledge of C++ to read code, investigate integration, and collaborate
• Experience using source control and participating in engineering review and test workflows
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have:

• Background in PPC, power-generation, industrial automation, inverter, or energy-storage embedded-control product development
• Experience with active/reactive power, voltage/frequency control, grid-support functions, or multi-asset plant coordination
• Familiarity with Stateflow, model-based design, model testing, or automatic code-generation
• Experience with closed-loop, software-in-the-loop, or hardware-in-the-loop validation and real-time deployment
• Experience integrating control models with C/C++ software, PLCs, or real-time hardware
• Experience with requirements traceability, DFMEA, or system-level verification and validation

• Translate feature requirements and control behavior into clear, maintainable MATLAB/Simulink models
• Participate in requirements clarification and design reviews
• Develop and update control logic for active/reactive power, voltage/frequency response, dispatch, and plant-level coordination
• Define and maintain model interfaces with other PPC components
• Build or adapt closed-loop simulation scenarios and investigate dynamic response
• Run model checks and support software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop validation
• Collaborate with PPC C++ developers to review assumptions and support integration
• Contribute to failure-mode analysis, verification, validation, and documentation
• Support regression testing and provide model changes and evidence for integration and release
