Jira Administrator & Application Support Specialist

The position supports a SAP customer undergoing modernization and scaling of its Jira-based backlog and test management platforms within an enterprise-scale IT ecosystem.

• 3+ years administering Jira in enterprise environments
• Expertise in Jira Automation, JMWE, and Xray Test Management
• Knowledge of Structure for Jira configuration
• Proficiency in Python scripting and REST API integrations
• Experience troubleshooting application configuration and integration
• Background in incident resolution and root cause analysis
• Familiarity with cloud migration and re-platforming processes
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

• Support end-user requests according to defined operational guidelines
• Maintain and extend automation rules using Jira Automation
• Develop and manage workflows using Jira Misc Workflow Extensions (JMWE)
• Manage Xray Test Management configurations and permissions
• Configure and support Structure for Jira boards and reports
• Troubleshoot configuration or integration issues
• Develop Python scripts and REST API integrations for custom reporting or automation
• Participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis
• Support cloud migration initiatives including app gap analysis and re-platforming
