Senior 3D Artist

SUPER PICKLE GAMES is a small game development team creating Beast Bumpers, a physics-based PvP brawler available on iOS and Android platforms. The company focuses on developing stylized, low-poly game assets and delivering frequent content updates for their live game.

• Strong portfolio with stylized, hand-painted 3D assets focusing on characters, environments, and props.
• Experience sculpting high-poly models and retopologizing them into clean, low-poly meshes.
• Strong hand-painted texturing skills.
• Proficiency with Blender, Substance Painter, and experience with Unity.
• Minimum 6 years of commercial game development experience with shipped games on Android/iOS.
• Structured approach to art pipeline, including asset specs, naming, export, and integration standards.
• Ability to plan and manage asset deliveries including scoping, estimating, progress tracking, and risk management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to give/receive feedback.
• Good spoken and written English.

Nice to have:

• Rigging, skinning, and animation experience.
• Experience mentoring artists or coordinating outsourced art.
• Experience with or openness to using AI tools to accelerate parts of the art pipeline.

• Create new characters, skins, and event assets for a live game.
• Create stylized, low-poly, game-ready 3D assets including characters, environments, and props.
• Optimize assets for performance while maintaining visual appeal.
• Integrate assets into Unity ensuring seamless in-game functionality.
• Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and animators to bring the game world to life.
• Maintain general visual quality, making the game look appealing.
