Security Engineer (Microsoft Cloud)

ALGOTEQUE Innovation Hub is seeking a Security Engineer to support and improve security across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid environments.

• Experience in Information Security, Cloud Security, or Security Engineering.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security.
• Experience with Microsoft security tools such as Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, or Intune.
• Understanding of IAM, Zero Trust, and hybrid cloud security.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and incident response.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Microsoft Security certifications are a plus.
• Fluent English.

• Implement and maintain security controls across Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid environments.
• Support identity, access, endpoint, and cloud security.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft security tools such as Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and Intune.
• Monitor security alerts and support incident investigation and remediation.
• Support vulnerability assessments and track remediation activities.
• Identify security risks and help implement appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into systems and applications.
• Maintain security documentation, procedures, and standards.
• Support continuous improvement of security processes and controls.
