Mid/Senior Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET)

TNS operates in an international environment with a team cooperating closely with the USA, focusing on software quality and test automation for large-scale software deployments.

• Skilled with test automation languages, frameworks, and tools including Postman, Selenium, and testing frameworks
• Basic understanding of web application development using Java and TypeScript-based frameworks such as Angular
• Strong experience with Java, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/Bootstrap, JSON-based RESTful services, SQL, and Linux environments
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools such as GitHub Copilot
• Ability to write automation verifying data structures, formats, and values
• Knowledge of AWS cloud applications, preferably serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway), and RDBMS and NoSQL databases
• Experience with performance, stress, and reliability testing methodologies
• Experience with code repositories using Git and CI/CD tools like AWS Code Pipeline and GitLab pipelines
• Demonstrated experience with Agile/SCRUM and tools such as Jira
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional collaboration experience
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years in Software Engineering or SDET roles

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of telecom domains, especially numbering type products
• Proficiency with AI-powered development tools including GitHub Copilot and other generative AI platforms to accelerate test script creation and optimize test case generation

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for functional and non-functional testing of web applications and APIs
• Execute manual test cases, perform exploratory testing, and validate complex business scenarios
• Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test documentation
• Partner with DevOps teams to integrate automated test suites into continuous integration pipelines
• Collaborate with System Engineering, Architecture, Program Management, and Software Development teams throughout the development lifecycle
• Contribute to quality-centric methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives in an Agile environment
