Senior Software Engineer (Platform & Cloud)

We are a young, fast-growing SaaS company specializing in Data and Analytics Engineering. Our product, Sublime, is a multi-tenant analytics platform for e-commerce, DTC, and subscription businesses serving clients from Poland and the USA. The platform runs on Google Cloud Platform with tools such as BigQuery, Airflow, dbt, Apache Superset, Terraform, and GitLab CI. The Sublime app uses React and FastAPI and delivers AI-generated insights powered by Anthropic Claude, with Claude Code used in development.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience
• At least 3 years of commercial experience with Python (backend/API)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with a public cloud, preferably Google Cloud Platform, and hands-on experience with Terraform
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and containers (Docker, GitLab CI, Cloud Run or similar)
• Experience integrating applications with cloud services including cloud APIs, service accounts, and IAM
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, MCP) and critical evaluation of AI-generated code
• Security mindset including concepts like IAM, secrets management, and client data isolation
• Fluency in Polish and English

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with data stack including BigQuery, Airflow, dbt, Apache Superset, and SQL
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures (e.g., Postgres Row-Level Security)
• Experience with FastAPI, React, and TypeScript
• Experience with observability and cloud cost optimization
• Experience with deploying LLMs in production including evaluation and prompt management
• Experience working in startups or small teams

• Work side by side with the founders, building scalable data products and scaling startups
• Build and maintain the integration between the web application and Google Cloud for automation of client onboarding and environment setup
• Develop and maintain Google Cloud infrastructure including IAM, security, reliability, and cost using Terraform
• Automate engineering processes such as CI/CD, testing, deployments, and client provisioning
• Contribute to architecture decisions and perform code reviews, especially at the intersection of the application and cloud
• Daily hands-on development using Python, SQL, Terraform, and TypeScript
