Store Infrastructure & Systems Engineer (she/he/they)

Żabka Future is hiring a candidate to develop Linux system and IT infrastructure skills, working with IT infrastructure supporting store operations and system solutions.

• Experience working with Linux systems in both desktop and server environments.
• Ability to diagnose system and hardware issues.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts.
• Analytical thinking and independent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create technical documentation.
• Proactive attitude, curiosity, and readiness to develop skills.
• Willingness for regular on-site collaboration in Poznań headquarters and IT Lab at least twice a month.
• English language proficiency at B2 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Linux distributions like Debian, Ubuntu, Red Hat, or OpenSUSE.
• Basic scripting skills, e.g., in Bash or Python.
• Knowledge of automation tools for system installation and configuration.
• Experience working in distributed IT environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and SNMP protocol.
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL and Git.
• Experience testing or deploying IT hardware.
• Knowledge about managing large numbers of end devices.
• Experience in retail environments.
• Interest in open source technologies.

• Administration and maintenance of Linux environments in distributed store infrastructure.
• Maintenance and development of systems supporting management of Linux-based end devices.
• Analysis of existing technical solutions and recommending improvements.
• Participation in projects related to modernization and development of Linux environments.
• Testing, reviewing, and implementing IT hardware intended for store use.
• Diagnosing and resolving system, infrastructure, and hardware issues.
• Monitoring IT environment and handling incidents.
• Collaboration with IT teams and external partners.
• Creating and updating technical documentation.
• Implementing changes in distributed IT infrastructure.
