Cloud FinOps Tooling Specialist (10/12)

Join a global technology environment focused on supporting and enhancing cloud cost management and FinOps tooling. The role involves day-to-day administration of the Apptio Cloudability platform, including platform stability, user support, and developing automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.

• Experience in IT Support, Application Support, or L2 Support environments.
• Hands-on experience with Python or similar scripting languages for process automation.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation solutions or applications in production.
• Good understanding of cloud security fundamentals, including IAM, least privilege, access management, and secure configurations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with globally distributed teams.
• English at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly Cloud Run, or exposure to AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools including Git, CI/CD, monitoring, and release management.
• Experience with Apptio Cloudability or similar cloud cost management platforms.
• Understanding of FinOps principles including cloud cost allocation, tagging, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Knowledge of API integrations and workflow automation.

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Cloudability platform including user onboarding, access management, ticket resolution, and configuration.
• Maintain platform metadata, budgets, forecasts, and technical documentation.
• Provide regular updates on service status, known issues, and cloud consumption trends.
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimize operational processes like ticket handling and access provisioning.
• Develop, maintain, and support automation solutions and applications hosted in Google Cloud Run.
• Address security findings and ensure compliance with security standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
• Deliver training and provide technical guidance to users of the FinOps tooling ecosystem.
