Data Engineer - ERP Technologies (B2B)

dmTECH Polska is a technology company belonging to the international dm group operating in the retailTECH sector for one of the largest European drugstore chains. The company has over 1,400 experts working across Germany, Austria, and Poland, supporting business and customer experiences in 14 European countries. The ERP department's Data Engineering teams develop data ecosystems for key business processes using technologies like Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, and SAP.

• Minimum 3 years of commercial or project experience in Data Engineering.
• Experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP, alternatively Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge and practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu and CI/CD processes.
• Strong programming skills, especially in Python and SQL.
• Self-motivated with an organized, solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and business partners.
• Proficient in Polish (C1) and English (B2).

Nice to have:

• German language knowledge at minimum B2 level.
• Higher education in IT, IT economics, Data Science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or related fields.
• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.
• Knowledge of databases and data modeling.
• Experience with SAP data structures like IDocs, SAP BW, or SAP Fiori.
• Experience in AI or ML areas.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, dbt, or data virtualization tools like Denodo.
• Domain experience in warehouse logistics, intralogistics, e-commerce logistics, real estate management, facility management, procurement, finance, accounting, or retail distribution logistics.
• Knowledge of Data Governance and data quality management.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing pipelines and data platforms for selected product teams.
• Build and automate cloud infrastructure primarily in GCP and partly in Snowflake using Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Model and integrate data from SAP and other source systems into cloud data warehouses, mainly in Snowflake.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated, stable deployments.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate domain requirements into stable data management and modeling solutions.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and security of pipelines and platforms.
• Support development of standards and best practices in Data Engineering within ERP product teams.
