Senior .NET Engineer

Relativity is a leading legal data intelligence company that builds AI-powered, cloud-based software platforms like RelativityOne for legal and regulatory matters. The Matter Administration team delivers tools and services for managing Relativity environments, including a greenfield product lifecycle involving .NET implementation, GitHub Actions deployment, and New Relic monitoring. The company supports law firms, corporations, and government agencies with legal AI software that handles complex, high-stakes data.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing commercial software systems using C#.
• Experience building cloud-scalable solutions with cloud-native patterns, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with scalable database technologies.
• Experience with cloud-focused DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Harness, and LaunchDarkly.
• Ability to design and implement mature deployment and release solutions.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices including unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience incorporating AI tools for code generation, refactoring, design, documentation, and planning.
• Experience working in Agile teams with mentoring and feature leadership.
• Fluency in English (C1 level).

Preferred:

• Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Pulumi.
• Experience with observability platforms like New Relic and Grafana.
• Experience developing web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.
• Experience with .NET Core.

• Contribute throughout all software lifecycle phases within a Scrum team.
• Architect and design performant, scalable, and secure software solutions.
• Apply object-oriented principles using C#, TypeScript, and JavaScript, including SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Provide technical guidance and promote engineering best practices through code reviews.
• Develop and execute comprehensive unit and integration testing strategies.
• Identify, document, and automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Contribute to and mature automated CI/CD deployment and upgrade workflows.
• Use monitoring and observability tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot production issues and respond to customer-specific problems.
• Coach and mentor team members through technical guidance and education.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as second line support after gaining domain experience.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and collaboration.
