Big Data Analyst

Decathlon Sp. z o.o. is located in Warszawa and offers a position focused on big data analytics within a modern cloud ecosystem using tools such as Databricks.

• Ability to manipulate, transform, and analyze large datasets with clear and impactful results.
• Experience translating business questions into analytical problems and building data-driven tools.
• Strong team player prioritizing understanding client needs and delivering valuable analytical solutions.
• Strong practical skills in SQL to effectively analyze large datasets.
• Strong presentation skills to guide non-technical stakeholders through data and analyses.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
• Self-organization with attention to detail.
• Foundational understanding of Python.
• Effective communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with dbt platform.
• Familiarity with Google Apps Script.

• Act as a strategic business partner by translating complex data into actionable insights that drive business value and support executive decision-making.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets to derive strategic conclusions.
• Take end-to-end ownership of data solutions: consulting with various departments to understand their needs and delivering data-driven products.
• Work daily within a modern cloud ecosystem, leveraging Databricks to query, manipulate, and transform large-scale datasets.
• Actively explore and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance data analysis, automate reporting workflows, and maximize operational efficiency.
• Maintain and enhance existing data solutions and implement changes to meet evolving business needs.

First 3 months require stationary work in the office; after 3 months, remote working is possible. Personal data processing information is provided as per legal regulations.
