Product Engineer

Juo is a B2B SaaS company focused on building software for businesses to create and manage their subscription offerings. Initially targeting direct-to-consumer ecommerce businesses selling physical products, Juo aims to enable subscription models across industries. The company operates at the intersection of ecommerce, payments, and developer tools, emphasizing developer experience. Juo has a lean team of experienced professionals and is backed by investors and advisors from ecommerce and payment domains.

• 5+ years of cumulative experience as an engineer and/or product designer
• Knowledge of many technologies and stacks, with the ability to choose the right one for the job
• Experience in product-led companies
• Comfort working the lean startup way
• An open mind when learning new technologies
• Proven record of working and delivering in cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to design and implement solutions in complex systems
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (support, development, and growth)
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Fluency in Polish (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Experience with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) or subscription-based systems

• Collaborate daily with Product and Design to shape priorities and translate them into actionable engineering work
• Help set product priorities that are aligned with technical feasibility
• Contribute to the development team by writing code (when needed) and taking part in architectural discussions
• Make sure product feature delivery is predictable and transparent
• Justify technical decisions in terms of product outcomes
• Talk to customers to gain an extra edge in building the product
• Promote engineering best practices and make sure they're applied consistently
