Delivery Manager

• 5+ years in IT with strong software engineering background
• 2+ years as Lead Developer, Team Lead, or Delivery Lead
• Proven experience managing delivery for teams of 5+ FTEs
• Ability to understand code and architecture of full-stack solutions
• Knowledge of architectural styles (n-tier, SOA, event-driven, microservices) and UML
• Ability to design for performance, scalability, security, maintainability
• Advanced hands-on CI/CD experience including pipeline design and optimization
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure);
• Advanced code quality practices including code review, static analysis, coding standards
• Experience driving AI-assisted SDLC adoption and building AI agents using LLM APIs
• Solid project management skills: scope, estimation, planning, risk, quality, change management
• Experience setting delivery metrics tailored to commercial models and SDLC
• Established delivery governance with cadences, reviews, reporting, escalation
• Practical Agile framework experience (Scrum, Kanban) and methodology tuning
• Understanding of testing fundamentals: test levels, types, activities
• Client communication and conflict resolution experience in international delivery
• People leadership including coaching, feedback, performance management, interviewing
• Strong ownership, adaptability, and communication skills
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have:

• Experience delivering AI-based solutions (LLM-powered apps, chatbots, recommendation engines)
• Knowledge of legal, ethical, and compliance aspects of GenAI
• Familiarity with scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus)
• Basic understanding of engagement models and project P&L

• Lead end-to-end delivery of teams, owning scope, timelines, quality, and outcomes
• Define project roles, interview candidates, and assess skills and seniority
• Set up or takeover delivery environments technically and process-wise
• Plan and estimate effort, schedule delivery, and track milestones
• Establish delivery governance: reviews, health checks, reporting, escalation
• Drive data-driven delivery using tailored metrics across SDLC stages
• Identify and mitigate risks in scope, schedule, budget, and resources
• Solve problems focusing on customer value delivery
• Make and justify software architecture decisions
• Translate architecture into implementation plans and suggest improvements
• Dive into coding issues and support resolution
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Design quality processes: coding standards, code review, analysis, testing
• Choose and adapt delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Drive AI-powered SDLC adoption and measure impact
• Build AI agents and skills to automate workflows
• Evaluate and select GenAI tools and communicate benefits
• Contribute to AI-based solutions and presales offerings
• Manage direct client communication, handle conflicts, and take responsibility
• Learn client domain and align team working methods
• Coach, give feedback, manage performance, and foster inclusive environment
• Contribute to presales estimations, architecture reviews, and documentation
• Share delivery best practices within EPAM community
