Delivery Manager

• 5+ years in IT with strong software engineering background
• 2+ years as Lead Developer, Team Lead or Delivery Lead
• Proven delivery management for teams of 5+ FTEs
• Ability to read and understand full-stack code and architecture
• Knowledge of architectural styles (n-tier, SOA, event-driven, microservices) and UML
• Design for quality attributes: performance, scalability, security, maintainability
• Advanced hands-on CI/CD experience designing and optimizing pipelines
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure); cloud certifications a plus
• Advanced code quality practices: code review, static analysis, coding standards
• Experience driving AI-assisted SDLC adoption
• Hands-on building AI agents and skills using LLM APIs and agent frameworks
• Solid project management: scope, estimation, planning, risk, quality, change management
• Experience setting up delivery metrics aligned with commercial models and SDLC
• Establishing delivery governance: cadences, reviews, reporting, escalation
• Practical experience with Agile frameworks and methodology tuning
• Understanding testing fundamentals: levels, types, activities
• Experience in technical client communication and conflict resolution, international environments preferred
• People leadership: coaching, feedback, performance management, recruitment
• Strong ownership, adaptability, clear communication, ability to challenge constructively
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have:

• Experience delivering AI-based solutions like LLM-powered apps, chatbots, recommendation engines
• Awareness of legal, ethical, and compliance aspects of GenAI
• Familiarity with scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus)
• Understanding of engagement models and project P&L

• Lead end-to-end delivery of your teams, owning scope, timelines, quality, and outcomes
• Define team roles and skills, interview and assess candidates
• Set up and adapt delivery environments technically and process-wise
• Plan, estimate effort and schedule, track milestones, and collaborate on budgets
• Establish delivery governance: reviews, health checks, reporting, escalations
• Define and track data-driven delivery metrics tailored to commercial models
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks; conduct risk reviews and escalate early
• Solve problems focused on customer value
• Make and justify software architecture decisions within team scope
• Translate architecture into implementation plans and suggest improvements
• Dive into code-level issues and support resolution
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Design quality processes including coding standards and testing
• Choose and adapt delivery methodology (Scrum, Kanban, or other)
• Drive AI-powered SDLC adoption and measure its impact
• Build AI agents and skills to automate workflows
• Evaluate and select GenAI tools and platforms
• Contribute to AI-based solutions and GenAI offerings in client and presales
• Communicate directly with client stakeholders on technical and delivery topics
• Learn and align team with client domain and processes
• Lead teams by coaching, feedback, performance management, and inclusive culture
• Support presales with estimations, architecture reviews, and documentation
• Share delivery best practices within EPAM community
