Delivery Manager

• 5+ years in IT with strong software engineering background including 2+ years as Lead Developer, Team Lead, or Delivery Lead
• Proven management of delivery for teams of 5+ FTEs
• Ability to read and understand code and architecture of full-stack solutions, and design and deliver them
• Knowledge of architectural styles (n-tier, SOA, event-driven, microservices) and design notations like UML
• Ability to design for performance, scalability, security, maintainability, and justify trade-offs
• Advanced, hands-on experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure); certifications are a plus
• Advanced code quality practices including code review, static analysis, and coding standards establishment
• Experience driving AI-assisted SDLC adoption
• Hands-on building of AI agents and skills using LLM APIs and agent frameworks
• Solid project management skills: scope, estimation, planning, risk, quality, and change management
• Experience setting up delivery metrics across SDLC stages and adjusting them to commercial models and SDLC approach
• Experience establishing delivery governance: cadences, reviews, reporting, escalation
• Practical experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tailoring methodologies
• Understanding of testing fundamentals: test levels, types, and activities
• Experience handling direct client technical communication and conflict resolution internationally
• People leadership: coaching, feedback, performance management, candidate interviewing
• Strong ownership, adaptability, clear verbal and written communication, and constructive challenge
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher

• Lead end-to-end delivery of your teams, owning scope, timelines, quality, and outcomes
• Define roles and skills needed, interview candidates, and assess skills and seniority
• Set up or take over delivery environments technically (tooling, environments, CI/CD) and process-wise
• Plan effort, schedule delivery, and track milestones while working with senior leadership on budgets
• Establish delivery governance including reviews, health checks, reporting, and escalation paths
• Define and track metrics across all SDLC stages to steer decisions and improvements
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks in scope, schedule, budget, and resources
• Act as a problem solver focused on delivering customer value
• Make software architecture decisions and justify them against requirements
• Translate architecture into implementation plans and suggest solution improvements
• Dive deep into code-level problem areas and support resolution
• Design and continuously improve the full CI/CD process
• Design quality processes covering coding standards, code review, analysis, refactoring, and testing
• Choose and adapt delivery methodology (Scrum, Kanban, or other)
• Drive adoption of AI-powered SDLC and measure its impact
• Build AI agents and skills to automate workflows and improve delivery efficiency
• Evaluate and select GenAI tools and platforms and communicate benefits
• Contribute to AI-based solution delivery and EPAM's GenAI offerings in client and presales contexts
• Communicate directly with client stakeholders on technical and delivery topics
• Learn client domain, processes, and align team working methods
• Lead teams by coaching, feedback, performance management, and fostering a learning environment
• Contribute to presales via estimations, architecture reviews, and documentation
• Share delivery best practices with the wider EPAM community
