Delivery Manager

• 5+ years in IT with strong software engineering background, including 2+ years as Lead Developer, Team Lead or Delivery Lead
• Proven track record managing delivery for teams of 5+ FTEs
• Ability to read and understand code and architecture of full-stack solutions
• Knowledge of architectural styles (n-tier, SOA, event-driven, microservices) and UML
• Ability to design for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability
• Advanced hands-on experience in designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure)
• Experience establishing code review, static analysis, and coding standards
• Hands-on experience driving AI-assisted SDLC adoption and building AI agents (e.g., with LLM APIs)
• Solid project management skills: scope, estimation, planning, risk, quality, and change management
• Experience setting up delivery metrics and governance across all SDLC stages
• Practical experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
• Understanding of testing fundamentals: test levels, types, and activities
• Experience in direct client communication and conflict resolution in international environments
• People leadership skills including coaching, feedback, performance management, and interviewing
• Strong ownership, adaptability, and communication skills
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher

• Lead end-to-end delivery of teams, managing scope, timelines, quality, and outcomes
• Define team roles and skills, interview candidates, and assess seniority
• Set up and adapt delivery environment including tooling and processes
• Plan and estimate effort, manage schedules, and track milestones
• Establish delivery governance with reviews, health checks, reporting, and escalation
• Define and track delivery metrics across SDLC stages and adjust for commercial models
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks in scope, schedule, budget, and resources
• Solve problems focused on delivering customer value
• Make software architecture decisions and translate them into implementation plans
• Dive into code to support teams resolving issues
• Design and optimize the full CI/CD process and quality practices
• Choose and adapt delivery methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Drive adoption of AI-powered SDLC and build AI agents and skills hands-on
• Evaluate and select GenAI tools and platforms, explain benefits to stakeholders
• Contribute to AI-based solutions delivery and GenAI offerings
• Manage direct communication with client stakeholders and handle conflicts
• Quickly learn client domain, internal processes, and align team ways of working
• Lead teams by coaching, feedback, performance management, and fostering inclusive environment
• Contribute to presales through estimations, architecture reviews, and documentation
• Share delivery best practices within EPAM community
