Senior AI Native Developer

Startup House is a company focused on supporting tech-based businesses with software development and other growth support. Their Development Team is expanding, with current growth into AI, automation, and intelligent systems.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong expertise in Golang, Node.js, or JavaScript (TypeScript welcomed).
• Hands-on experience shipping LLM-based features to production.
• Solid understanding of LLM architectures, embeddings, and vector search (RAG).
• Daily use of AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) with ability to identify hallucinations, security risks, and architectural drift in AI-generated code.
• Experience integrating external APIs, databases, and third-party tools into AI pipelines.
• Proficiency with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices: model deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD for AI systems.
• Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have:

• Practical experience developing AI agents, including MCP servers, tool calling, or multi-agent setups.
• Experience with LLM observability tools (e.g. Langfuse).
• Practical Domain-Driven Design (DDD) experience.
• Knowledge of Event Sourcing.
• Passion for new technologies and startups.
• Pet projects or presence in the IT community.
• Experience with other programming languages and frameworks.

• Design and ship AI-powered products end to end in Golang and Node.js including RAG pipelines, AI agents, and related APIs and integrations built to enterprise security and compliance standards.
• Make architecture decisions such as choosing between agents, single model calls, RAG, fine-tuning, prompts, or plain code.
• Work AI-first by coding agents, using spec-first development, automated reviews and tests, and project-level AI context.
• Make AI features production-ready including evaluations, monitoring latency, cost, token usage, and detecting hallucinations and security gaps.
• Participate in projects for clients from various industries, including startups and enterprises like Siemens.
• Own project direction and share expertise to help shape standards for AI-assisted development.
