FinCrime Quality Analyst (Fraud Escalations)

The role is part of the Financial Crime team that combines regulatory expertise with data-driven methods to prevent financial crime and ensure compliance with legal and policy requirements.

• Bachelor's degree with certificate
• 3+ years of experience in Financial Crime processes in regulated, risk-focused, or compliance-driven environment, or 2+ years fraud-related experience
• Experience in regulated complaints/disputes and fraud legislation
• Fluency in English at C1+ level
• Solid understanding of financial crime typologies and ability to identify risks through investigative work
• Ability to critically interpret and verify information and gather relevant details for investigations
• Proficiency with data-driven investigative tools, dashboards, and case management systems
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Risk teams providing constructive feedback
• Experience reviewing investigative decisions, processes, controls, and recommending improvements aligned with regulatory and business requirements

Nice to have:

• Degree or equivalent in law or STEM subject
• Industry-recognized certification such as ICA or ACAMS
• Fluency in additional languages

• Quality-check fraud escalation cases focusing on identifying successes and failures in case outcomes
• Provide feedback to compliance teams and individual analysts based on data-driven insights and root-cause analysis
• Learn and apply compliance department procedures and report procedural issues to management
• Coach new team members and collaborate with teams across different locations
• Conduct ad-hoc duties as required
