Senior Automation Software Engineer

Kanadevia Inova Polska Sp. z o.o. is hiring for an automation software engineering role based in Gliwice, Poland, focusing on Siemens PCS 7 and DCS systems engineering in an international project environment.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Siemens PCS 7, particularly in engineering, configuration and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens PCS 7 V9; experience with PCS 7 V10 is an advantage.
• Proven experience in setting up and configuring PCS 7 projects from the ground up.
• Very good understanding of PCS 7 / DCS system architecture.
• Practical knowledge of industrial Ethernet networks and network switch configuration.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with FAT/SWFAT and SAT activities.
• Experience in integrating package units and third-party systems into DCS environments.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned technical tasks.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in an international project environment.

• Engineering, configuration and commissioning of Siemens PCS 7 / DCS systems.
• Setting up PCS 7 projects from scratch, including project structure and initial system configuration.
• Configuration and implementation of complete PCS 7 / DCS systems in line with project requirements.
• Working with PCS 7 system architecture, including AS, OS, ES and network infrastructure.
• Configuration and programming of industrial Ethernet networks and network switches.
• Performing system testing, troubleshooting and commissioning activities.
• Supporting and participating in FAT/SWFAT and SAT activities.
• Integration of package units and third-party systems into the DCS environment.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues during engineering and commissioning phases.
• Cooperating with project teams and other engineering disciplines throughout project execution.
