Freelance Fullstack Engineer (Contentful)

Valtech is an experience innovation company blending data, AI, creativity, and technology to drive digital transformation for leading organizations such as L’Oréal, Mars, Audi, P&G, Volkswagen, and Dolby.

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a full-stack engineer
• Hands-on experience with Contentful, including content modeling
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript and Next.js
• Experience building and consuming APIs (REST/GraphQL), including CRUD integrations between systems
• Experience working in agile teams and collaborating with designers, architects and clients
• Experience writing clean, tested and well-documented code

Nice to have:

• CMS migrations (content mapping, transformation and validation)
• AI and automation tooling to improve content workflows and developer productivity
• Contentful webhooks, apps/extensions or the Management API

• Design and implement scalable Contentful content models that work well for editors and developers
• Build and consume Contentful delivery APIs (Content Delivery, Preview, GraphQL) to power web experiences
• Develop front-end features using TypeScript, React and Next.js
• Design and build integrations and APIs (including CRUD operations) between Contentful and other client systems
• Collaborate with designers, architects and client teams in an agile environment
• Take part in story refinement, estimation and code reviews
• Write clean, tested and well-documented code, with attention to performance, accessibility and security
