Internal Tools Engineer

The company, a European space-tech firm, works across Space Traffic Management, Space Surveillance & Tracking, and Space Operations, combining advanced optical systems, software, automation, and data. Their technology assists governments, defense organizations, space operators, and other customers to better understand orbit conditions and make informed decisions. The team includes astrophysicists, engineers, software developers, analysts, and project managers collaborating across Europe and beyond.

• 3+ years of experience in business systems administration, internal tools development, workflow automation, business applications, or related technical roles.
• Strong practical experience developing ClickUp automations, scripts, or integrations.
• Experience with integrations or automations involving Administration and Finance systems, including APIs, databases, data mappings, and reporting dependencies.
• Experience with Microsoft 365.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into clear, maintainable technical solutions.
• Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, structured data formats, and system integrations.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Good knowledge of C# (preferred) or Python.
• Strong attention to detail including naming consistency, dependencies, and continuity.
• Systematic troubleshooting, clear documentation, and concise user communication skills.
• Ability to balance user needs with maintainability, governance, and platform constraints.
• High level of independence, ownership, and follow-through.
• Proactive continuous improvement of workflows and data processes.
• Advanced English language skills (minimum B2), written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with ERP, accounting, or finance-management systems including implementation, integration, migration, or maintenance.
• Experience as a ClickUp administrator, consultant, or implementation specialist in multi-team environments.
• Familiarity with data governance, change control, and process mapping.
• Experience working with HR, finance, commercial, or other operational workflows.
• Awareness of data privacy and security best practices in dashboards and reporting.
• Experience in dynamic, remote-first environments.
• Conversational Polish (B1+).

• Develop internal tools supporting internal company processes.
• Design, build, and maintain custom and technically significant ClickUp automations, scripts, and engineering solutions.
• Automate repetitive internal workflows ensuring reliability, control, and maintainability.
• Build and maintain integrations between ClickUp, internal applications, and analytical systems.
• Validate configurations and data flows to ensure data quality and control changes.
• Translate operational requirements into appropriate technical solutions; implement, test, and validate these solutions.
• Maintain technical and user documentation, communicate changes, and provide structured user support.
