AI Product Engineer

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer specializing in Fullstack or Product Engineering.
• Strong frontend skills in React, TypeScript, and Next.js, including component architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
• Solid backend skills in Java and/or Kotlin with Spring Boot, including REST API design, persistence layer, authorization, and security.
• Practical experience with LLMs: prompt architecture, advanced RAG, function/tool calling, and agentic workflows.
• Product-oriented approach: ability to quickly transition from business concepts through prototyping to stable production-ready code.
• Experience working in enterprise environments using Agile/Scrum methodologies on large and complex corporate projects.
• Fluent proficiency in English and German (spoken and written) at minimum C1 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Spring AI (chat clients, advisors, vector abstractions).
• Knowledge of agent protocols (MCP, A2A) and agent orchestration frameworks.
• Cloud and DevOps experience: Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Maven/Gradle).
• Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., pgvector), chunking strategies, embeddings, and reranking.
• Tools for LLM evaluation and observability (tracing, token monitoring, quality metrics).
• Knowledge of Spring WebFlux and reactive programming for streaming LLM responses.
• Experience with design systems (Figma, design tokens, WCAG accessibility).
• Experience with Bosch corporate ecosystem (OneIDM, LeanIX, ServiceNow, Power BI, MS Graph).

• Develop and deploy AI product features on the FLOW HUB platform from prototype to production focusing on frontend in Next.js/React and backend in Spring Boot.
• Design and implement modern AI UI patterns including streaming responses, tool-calling visualization, agent tracking, source attribution, and human-in-the-loop approvals.
• Implement backend microservices in Java or Kotlin (Spring Boot), including API management for agent search, synchronization, and tool recommendation.
• Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines based on corporate knowledge bases, prompt architecture, function calls, and multi-stage agent orchestration (Spring AI, MCP protocols).
• Integrate external agent platforms and enterprise tools (Copilot Studio, DIA Brain, Cognigy, n8n, ServiceNow, LeanIX, Power BI) and identity layers (OneIDM, Compas, MS Graph).
• Implement testing and monitoring mechanisms for AI models, including grounding checks, hallucination prevention, regression tests, latency tracing, and token/cost tracking per agent.
• Develop compliance modules aligned with legal standards (EU AI Act), including role-based access control and formal processes (CD0302).
• Collaborate directly with Product Owners and business stakeholders for requirement gathering, demos, trade-off analyses, and backlog management.
