Regular / Senior Full Stack Engineer

Founded in 2012, Anshar Studios focuses on 1st and 3rd party game development for all major gaming platforms.

• Proven experience as a full-stack, backend, or tools engineer.
• Experience in building and shipping small web applications end-to-end, including backend, database, and frontend.
• Good knowledge of Python or C# (.NET) for backend and scripting.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL.
• Comfortable working with Linux and terminal environments.
• Practical use of AI tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor with understanding of LLMs.
• Experience deploying and running applications using Docker and basic CI/CD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills with various stakeholders.
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience in game development or with dedicated game servers.
• Experience with PlayFab and/or AWS APIs and SDKs.
• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana, Prometheus.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Perforce, and Unreal Engine build workflows.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, analytics, or data pipelines.
• Experience with microservices and container orchestration.
• Experience with authentication/SSO tools like Microsoft Entra ID.
• Infrastructure-as-Code knowledge with tools like Terraform, Ansible.

• Design, build and maintain internal web tools such as dashboards, admin panels, and server build management utilities.
• Develop backend services and REST APIs, including integrations with PlayFab and AWS.
• Design and maintain databases used by the internal tools.
• Containerize, deploy, and operate built tools including Linux hosts and CI/CD pipelines.
• Write automation scripts in Python and C# around game servers and online services.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate development and implement AI-assisted features in tools.
• Build dashboards and alerts for monitoring game services and tools using Grafana and similar.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers on the PlayFab to AWS migration.
• Provide first-line developer support, diagnose tool and service issues, and ensure communication flow.
