Automation Tester / QA Automation Engineer

Antal is recruiting for a role focused on projects in software development and quality assurance. The position involves working on automation tests and supporting CI/CD processes.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in test automation
• Very good knowledge of Java and TypeScript
• Proficiency with tools and technologies: Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, REST Assured, Allure Report, Jenkins, Maven, and Playwright
• Very good SQL skills
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or GitLab
• Familiarity with test-supporting tools like JIRA, Confluence, SQL Developer, SoapUI, Postman, and Excel
• Good understanding of software testing principles, techniques, and best practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• English language skills enabling fluent work with technical documentation and professional communication
• Higher education, preferably technical
• Analytical approach, precision, independence, proactivity, and good work organization

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of AWS
• Experience with Datadog or Appium
• ISTQB certification

• Creating automated test scripts based on project documentation and requirements
• Preparing test data and necessary scenarios
• Executing automated tests and reporting results
• Analyzing test results and reporting detected defects
• Developing and maintaining existing automation scripts
• Configuring and maintaining test execution environments
• Developing CI/CD configurations and processes
• Implementing new tools and methods supporting test automation
• Creating and updating documentation and knowledge base for automated tests
