Technical Project Manager / IT Feasibility Expert – CAPEX Projects

Must Haves

• Proven experience with similar assignments in the Food & Beverage / Dairy Industry.
• In-depth knowledge of IT and automation standards.
• Strong technical background in process automation and MES.
• Experience with CAPEX projects and gate models.
• Familiarity with URS/RFQ processes.
• Ability to work independently while structuring complex problems.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with food or process manufacturing.
• Collaboration skills with vendors and management.
• Knowledge of key integration tools like SAP MII.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IT feasibility studies using a structured gate model (Exploration → Development → CAPEX Gate).
• Produce early estimates of IT workload and costs across various systems (MES, automation, SAP).
• Evaluate implementation conditions and potential solutions based on ROI, standardization, flexibility, and safety.
• Define project scope for various systems (infrastructure, MES, SAP, etc.).
• Create process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, and assessments.
• Write user requirements specifications (URS) and requests for quotations (RFQs).
• Provide technical support during vendor negotiations.
• Develop implementation plans and ensure a structured handover to project managers.

• Onsite work in Aarhus is required, with occasional travel to production sites.
• The assignment is for 12 months, with an option to extend.
