Java Software Engineer | JAVA | Kraków | Hybrid

Requirements that must be met:

• At least 4 years of experience developing and supporting distributed systems written in Java.
• Ability to design and develop microservices using Java 25 and Spring Boot.
• Good knowledge of current Java technologies, frameworks, and DevOps tools.
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence, Ansible, vulnerability remediation, and CI/CD automation.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain technical problems clearly to people from different teams.
• Ability to work with teams across regions and consider the needs of the wider organisation.
• A structured and independent approach to work, with a focus on results.
• Very good English and Polish.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model in Kraków: 2 days in the office and 3 days remotely.

Your duties will include:

• Design reliable technical solutions and processes and implement them using Agile methods.
• Analyse technical and business requirements and advise stakeholders on suitable solutions.
• Work closely with business product owners, IT specialists, architects, and IT management.
• Support the adoption of DevOps and Agile principles and ways of working.
• Use SRE principles to improve platform reliability, capacity, and performance, reduce repetitive manual work, and make systems easier to monitor.
• Develop tools for monitoring, alerting, detecting and responding to incidents, managing capacity, and supporting safe releases.
• Take part in Incident Management, Problem Management, and Service Delivery activities.
