Product Designer | NordVPN Apps | Senior

• 3+ years of product design experience with mobile and desktop apps, including work across platforms and growing ownership of complex problems.
• Select prototyping tools appropriate to the question, create quick mockups or high-fidelity prototypes as needed, use AI when breadth is needed quickly, and prototype with real data.
• Handle disagreement constructively, consider engineering realities early, and build trust with collaborators.
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to visual and interaction details when creating high-quality, user-friendly experiences.

Nice to have:

• Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities; knowledge of applying WCAG conformance criteria in design.
• Experience in motion design.

• Design experiences for iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and browser extensions, exploring multiple directions and working through problems from the ground up.
• Surface assumptions early with the PO and engineers, challenge briefs when evidence points elsewhere, and consider removing flows entirely.
• Apply and help grow the design system by proposing components when gaps arise.
• Support design decisions with evidence, partner with UX Research or run validation, collaborate with engineers through the build, and own Design QA.
