Murex Back Office Consultant

Deloitte is building a dedicated advisory team in Poland focusing on Finance & Performance. The team advises clients on complex issues such as Reporting, Budgeting, and Controlling processes, including applying new technologies. Deloitte supports leading global organizations in optimizing and transforming their finance functions.

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Economics, Finance, IT, or related field.
• Strong understanding of back-office operations in financial markets including settlement, accounting, reconciliation, and trade lifecycle management.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Back Office Consultant, Developer, or Business Analyst on the Murex platform with focus on post-trade operations.
• Experience delivering projects in financial services, particularly with Murex implementations related to back-office.
• Solid experience in gathering and writing functional specifications and requirements using tools like Confluence.
• Strong expertise in Murex MX.3 back-office modules: settlement, confirmation, accounting, reconciliation, reporting.
• Knowledge of capital markets products and processes, especially back-office realm (securities settlement, post-trade processing, accounting).
• Detail-oriented, quick learner, able to take initiative and work independently in fast-paced environment.
• EU residency required.

• Design, implement, and support end user testing for business workflows (Contract/Deliverable/Event/Exchange) to capture trade lifecycle and validation processes.
• Collaborate with back-office stakeholders to understand and analyze their requirements.
• Translate these requirements into Murex configurations to improve operational processes such as settlement, accounting, and reconciliation.
• Oversee implementation and delivery of Murex solutions within back-office environment.
• Provide ongoing support to ensure smooth functioning.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT teams, providing guidance on back-office solutions.
• Configure Murex modules related to back-office operations (settlement, accounting, confirmation, reconciliation).
• Provide regular updates on project status, issues, and blockers.
• Assess and analyze the impact of changes on production environment.
• Foster strong collaboration and communication across project teams to ensure efficient delivery of solutions.
